It’s been a weird kind of week. Monday/Tuesday I didn’t feel great. Won’t go into it but womens things, suffice to say lol
I suffer a lot from that and it hit me this week.
I didn’t take Andrew to classes this week as I didn’t really feel up to it, but he doesn’t mind as it means he gets to cuddle up to me a lot more!
Monday we had 2 of Johnnys pals back for tea, twins who are hard work! Luckily I got them all out in the garden.
Tuesday we had another pal back with his mum and baby brother. Also ended up with Ann and Katie here for tea.
Love it when we have few pals back, makes time pass quick.
Yesterday we went to Monkey Bizness soft play then Pizza Hut for lunch.
Today Andrew has been at nursery this morning and is having a nap just now.
Johnny has a challenge to do for nursery when we get back later. He has to find out about camouflage and take his findings into nursery! He and I will do that when we get home, wish us luck!!
My week so far
Been a while
Ok so it has been a while then! I think I’d best make a pledge!
I promise that I am going to attempt to keep up this blog, if not daily, then as much as I possibly can!
I’m back to work today after an extra week off. The boys, and their parents, were stuck in Lanzarote for an extra week due to the volcanic ash situation. I came in last Wednesday to do the wee bit of ironing/washing to discover the kitchen flooded due to a tap being left on upstairs by the cleaner! So much for a quick hour catching up!
So far this morning we have taken Johnny to nursery, been to Tesco for a few things and also been to Jo Jingles, Andrews music class.
Andrew is having a quick nap now before lunch, then we get Johnny at 2.45. Weather seems nice so hopefully get them out in the garden once we get back
Andrews 2nd Birthday Party
Well that’s it all over!
Dropped Johnny with a friends mum this morning to go into nursery and we got back to the house to finish decorating it, getting table ready, blowing up balloons!
I was still getting sorted when the first guest arrived at 9.45.
We had a total, including Andrew and I, of 7 kids and 6 adults!
They played great for a while then Andrew opened his presents. He did well getting a fire engine, colouring things, books, and a Peppa Pig tshirt among other things.
I gave him a Peppa Pig Rocket this morning too.

Tuesday 6th October
Went to get all of the party stuff I needed for Andrews party this morning.
He chose a Peppa Pig cake, we got the food for kids & adults, party bags, party bag fillers, banners, you name it!
Tomorrow morning I have a total of 7 kids and 6 adults to look after, feed & water!
Wish me luck!! Think I may need it
Thursday 1st October
Ann was over again today with her 2 charges for play and tea. She brought a lovely bunch of yellow roses for me as a wee thank you. It’s so nice to be treated for a change as I usually have to buy my own flowers!!
Tuesday 29th September
It’s raining today, eughhh!
Got a friend here today, we have a running arrangement for a Tuesday.
She is a nanny too and brings with her Katie, 3, to play with Andrew.
Andrew is sleeping just now so peace and quiet……oh sorry forgot, Katie is still here! Lol
